Santana Cafe sits quietly on Av. de Stalingrad, offering a welcoming spot that blends the ease of a neighborhood living room with the feel of an old-school bar. This cafe is a favored stop for those looking to settle in with a strong espresso or explore a modest but thoughtful beer selection, including local favorites like Chouffe on tap.

The atmosphere is unpretentious and cozy, with seating options both inside and out, making it a versatile place to pause at different times of the day. Locals often drop by for a relaxed coffee break or linger into the evening with a beer in hand, enjoying the kind of laid-back vibe that encourages lingering conversation or quiet moments with a book.

Staff here are notably approachable and knowledgeable, often suggesting drinks tailored to visitors' tastes, which adds a personal touch that feels less like a typical cafe service and more like catching up with a friend. While the food menu hasn’t been the main draw so far, everything seen being served looks appealing and suggests the spot might be a good choice for a casual lunch as well.

Santana Cafe attracts a mixed crowd—from neighborhood regulars to travelers seeking a quiet corner in Brussels. Its ease and flexibility make it especially suited for those who appreciate a calm pause amid the city buzz, whether starting the day with coffee or winding down after hours.

Perfect escape into a hidden gem of a cafe. The staff is beyond accommodating! You feel like you’re hanging out in a family member’s living room! But the coffee and beverages are all better here! I haven’t tried the food yet, but for a drink it’s one of my favorite spots in BXL

We stopped here after arriving in Brussels for a few drinks. The staff were really friendly and helpful and recommended us a few beers to try. Inside and outside are both lovely to sit in and look quite magical and cosy. Would defintely come back and have some lunch as everything we saw served looked really good Also seems like a fun place to go late at night

We had an amazing lunch here! We initially came in because of the very friendly price, but we were really amazed by the food quality. The portion of food was very generous, the service very nice, and the seating inside felt very cosy and homey. I definitely recommend the food here, but there were other people that came for the beers.

A relaxed and safe local Brussels café, mostly visited by Brussel locals and Arab people. If you're a tourist and looking for real local flavor this is it: a typical Brussels 'brasserie', nothing spectacular, no frills but with swift and friendly service. Try the Lavazza brand coffee and order a real 'espresso' if you need to wake up. At € 2,5 per shot it's one of the best and natural ways to get a boost.

Great little place with lovely atmosphere! We had a really enjoyable lunch whilst waiting for a train connection, worth the little extra walk. Food was fresh, reasonably priced and really good quality!
